I’ve been an Outlaw coach for the last 7 years . I’m a ski coach for Arrowhead ski team. I’m also an outdoor adventure guide at a coupleof local resorts. I’m passionate about sharing the opportunity to experience the outdoors, doing radical things with like-minded people. I enjoy coaching anyone through the fear and anxiety of a challenge to the triumphant reward of doing something difficult. Making the impossible- possible, being comfortable with discomfort. Empowering youth to grow, learn, and improve themselves and their riding skills.

I started coaching as a way to just ride more and get around to races. Turns out I’m just a 30 year old with the heart and mind of a 15 year old and outlaws have become some of my best friends. Helping these kids get faster is so much fun until they start beating you then it sucks for about 2 seconds and then you’re extremely hyped for them.

I live by the motto, “Life, live it with a smile!” Riding bikes has and will always be part of my life. Riding makes my face hurt; all that smiling! I enjoy all disciplines of biking minus that spandex stuff. My wide range of ability allows me to be capable of guiding others as they progress on their path. I have an awesome wife and 5 wonderful kids. We enjoy growing and learning together by spending as much time as we can outside biking, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, camping, and throwing rocks in the creek. I am excited to be part of the Outlaw family and to help the future generations live life with a smile

I first got into coaching because I wanted to show the next generation of riders that being out on a bike can be a ritual to escape some of life's stresses and distractions. In those times I've found that most riders need a good mentor to help build them up. Working through mental battle that racing brings, we look at the opportunities as puzzle pieces. Getting to work with our riders on how those puzzle pieces go together is my favorite math problem of life. Pushing and helping our athletes to find those pieces and place them where they need helps translate opportunity into results. 2024's motto; open road and open soul, lets get after it!

I’ve been riding with Outlaw since 2018 as an athlete, This will be my first year as a full time coach. Outlaw as a team and community have taught me much about riding bikes fast and about life in general. So much of the person I am today stems from Outlaw and I’m excited to pass on the lessons and skills I’ve learned to the next generation of shredders!

I love being a part of Outlaw because it’s extremely rewarding to give back and play a small part in helping these young athletes check of goals, chase their dreams, and progress as athletes and humans! We always have fun, they keep me young and inspire this OG (old guy) to set goals and continue progressing as a rider myself.

I started mountain biking when i moved to Utah in the fall of 2018. Mountain biking captured so many aspects of what I love in sports and quickly became a passion of mine. In the last three years I have started racing downhill and enduro, I learned that racing is my favorite way to ride a bike and I am stoked to share what I have learned in the process. Individual sports like snowboarding and mountain biking have become a huge part of my identity, and I’m so excited to share what I have learned about progressing action sports safely and understanding how to push your limits in safe manner!
Athletic Achievements - My major athletic achievements are that I was a state athlete in 110M High Hurdles in high school, and every BME that I have completed has felt like a big accomplishment to me.

I've been a part of the Outlaw Bike Team as a coach since 2019. I love the challenge of mountain biking and pushing myself to try new, hard things. More than that, it's the shared experiences with the team, conquering new challenges, and embracing every moment that make it truly rewarding. It's an ongoing journey that I thoroughly enjoy.
Beyond the thrill of the ride, it's the community that stands out. I've built some of my strongest friendships on those trails, and coaching has only strengthened these connections. The excitement of racing is undeniable, but it's the shared support and camaraderie that fuel my passion. Here's to many more years with an incredible team, to deepening friendships, and to never-ending adventures. Let's hit the trails!
